today choir went to this old folks home and its just such a sad thing! there were so many old people. its so horrid of their families to leave them there! on the 1st floor there was this adoreable little old lady who profusely apolagised for not having chairs or drinks for us. oh yeah haha i think my chinese improved a tad bit talking to all of them in chinese:D but thats like the only plus point. she kepy say sorry in chinese and Maria and i were like no no its ok. she was such a cute grandma and she has kids ok! so i cant understand why anyone would put her in a home when she is 100% lucid she was even helping the others. some people spoke dilect so i couldn't understand those stories. then on the 2nd level there was this really pitiful lady! she was sitting a wheel chair like most of them. but when we spoke to a lady another lady at her table she gently reached out for us. so i went over to her. then she held my hand while we talked to her. but she was crying so she really didn't talk much. then she kept reaching for my hand like to make sure we were still there or something. it was so sad! when we left she kept staring with this like why are you leaving me sad face. and omg there was this nurse who was so annoying. one of the old ladies whos pretty old (you can kinda tell) was screaming then the nurse scolded her and threw some cloth i was like OMG. and maria wanted to like smack the nurse. ok the end dont ever send your eldery to homes. they go crazy from not seeing their sons and daughters its horrible. tata |
